Is it possible to swap a 4 cylinder head onto a 6 cylinder body?

Yes.. maybe there was a problem w the original pump housing (cracked) and that one got used and nobody swapped name plates.??

Did u take the return connector OFF THE TOP COVER & try to start it.??

I haven't taken the brass return connector off. Only the return line itself. It's sat on an off for like 5 years. He would have a mechanic come out and try to fix it and they couldn't get it. Than it would sit for about a year and he had another mechanic come out and try to fix it. They couldn't get it and it sat for about another year and he had one last mechanic try to fix it. Each time he had to buy a new set of batteries because of how long it sat. I can't speak to how good those mechanics were as we didn't live near him at the time. I'm an automotive mechanic myself, and that's why he gave it to me because he was tired of throwing money at it. I think it sat for about 2 years before I got it. I don't have the original or a spare injection pump.

There no way in he!! it’s gonna start..
It’s sat to long.. there are pumping plungers deep in the pump that will be stuck after sitting that long..
Your gonna do more harm than good if u keep trying to start it..
