I've had no problems at all with my 3038e - with 250 hours or more. I did have the rear tires filled upon purchase - the dealer told me he wouldn't sell the tractor without that weight. It is still a light tractor compared to the big old utility JDs I was used to. But getting up on an old monster was too hard on 70 year old knees. I use the tractor to push snow off my mile-long drive, and grade it using an old 5' box blade, scraper blade and landscape rake (all bought well used). And I bushhog 30 acres of open land on my property - no problems. My only gripe with the tractor is the same as on every CUT I've sat on... Dern machine is too narrow and prone to roll on my Virginia hills. The pucker factor is very high. I'm now planning to put some extenders on the rear wheels to pop them out 8 inches or so to lend a touch more stability.
