Yeah, like has been said above, the biggest issue isn't the buying price but maintenance issues down the road. Working on/fixing a dozer is one of the most expensive things that one can run into. A lot of people run them without any major problems for years and get their money back...other's spend triple what they paid just to keep it goins, so it's a crap shoot. I love 'em and take every chance to run one that I get.....but I still cringe when thinking of buying one. If it is even remotely close to purchase price to have your work hired out, then do that....
