Nice machine. I also just bought a used GT245 (2003 model, with 500 hours on it) for $2100 USD. Mine didn't come with a bagger like yours, but did come with a JD 10P dump cart and a tow-behind fertilizer spreader.

I bought mine from a private individual rather than from a dealer. I immediately replaced the tranny fluid, fuel filter, oil & filter, and replaced the front two gauge wheels on the 54C deck. I also added the optional metal brush bumper to the front to protect the (fragile and expensive) hood.

I just mowed with it for the first time last weekend; did a beautiful job.

That sounds like a good deal.Gt245's have the k71 transaxle,which I wanted
as I pull a home made driveway leveller .Good luck with your purchase .
