I prefer the electric solenoid. I have several set up on my Harley landscape rake. They work beautifully, I get full feather control and it is incredibly simple and reliable. Best thing is the control is where I want it. My local JD/Kubota dealer will install almost any after market devices on a tractor, after all, they sell a bunch of implements that are not JD or Kubota. My TnT is all after market installed by my dealer. Between a grapple of a 4N1 your looking at functions that are quite different. For logs and brush, both will work although I would think the grapple would have the edge. For dirt work or blading, the 4N1 would definitely have the advantage.
