As I explore all the possibilities for a possible upgrade to a CUT from my 445 this next Fall, I'm curious about the experiences of owners of the new 4010 model. While the specs seem to portray a capable small CUT, I'm a little concerned about a few limitations that may exist. I guess I'm basing my conjecture on a comparison between the specs of the 4010 and the 4110.
First, the 4010's fuel tank is a bit smaller. Second, the PTO horsepower of the 4010 is low enough it might limit rotary cutter size to a 48" max as well as the possibility of using a tiller or small rental overseeder. Third, the hydraulic system's lower GPM capacity may limit implement size and speed.
Do any of you think I would really notice a substantial difference between the 4010 and the 4110 in these areas? I know it's kind of a no-brainer that the greater specs will produce better results, especially on bigger jobs. I'm just trying to develop an educated rationale for saving or spending the approximate $2,000 difference between the two models.
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.
