JD 4100 with 410 loader

Hello,

I'm new here. I have a problem with my 410 loader. Nothing is responding as it should. It worked fine when I took it off in the fall and the front snowblower worked fine all winter. I can get all of the functions to work on the loader, but only if I combine dump/curl movement with raise lower.
I've disconnected and reconnected the quick connect lines several times. No change. I've switched the lines around, the problem still persists. And I reconnected the snowblower several times. It works perfectly each time.

Is it possible that the SCV has an internal problem that only shows up because of the extra load on the system because the loader is more demanding?

Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Very common problem. Sounds like you have the hydraulic connections mixed up. Use colored tie-wraps to keep them straight when you figure it out !

I would suggest following the two lines that connect to the raise lower cylinders. Then confirm which two connections on tractor are for raise lower. Connect those two lines and check function. If movement is wrong direction just swap those two line. Then connect remaining two line for curl dump. Like ZZ stated mark the lines once have system working.
