John Deere 4300
Hi Folks, I have a JD 4300 that sometimes will not turn over using the ignition switch, starts fine by jumping starter solenoid, sometimes starts fine on its own, wasn't a big problem but the condition seems to be getting worse. I've seen a lot of forums on these tractors not starting do to not getting fuel, etc, but couldn't find one on not turning over. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

You have starter interlock switches for the PTO, HST pedal, range selector, clutch, and or
seat, depending on the trannie your Deere has. That causes most of the problems. Sometimes
an interlock relay is bad or has dirty contacts.
