JD 4300 Won't lift as much

It sounds like the pump is deadheading when I attempt to lift or curl. It's weird, sometimes it will lift normal and other times it won't.

If its only when you attempt to curl, it sounds like an unseated or faulty quick disconnect

I agree with LD1 on this sounds like a quick disconnect failing. If you feather the joystick in an attempt to raise very slowly will the loader lift? Same with curl / dump. If it works at very low speeds this also points towards quick disconnects failing.

It's unlikely all have failed

Is this just curl or lift?

Their is two for each....and if a single one is faulty, it will cause that function not to work. Because they BOTH flow fluid when a function is operating. One allows fluid to supply the cylinder and the other allows return. Block either one (like a faulty coupling) and the system will deadhead

If both curl/ dump and lift / lower are failing is there a chance you have a hose crossed between the two functions? This would cause both functions to fail

when you attempt to raise does the loader lift a little then stop?
Do both of the hoses going to lift cylinders get stiff like under pressure?
