JD 4410 #rd Remote Lock Valve

I just bought a T6 Harley rake with the hydraulic angle. The cylinder keeps slipping since the T6 does not have a lock valve on it to lock the cylinder and keep it from moving.

I found one on Surplus Center that will work for $120 that I can put on the T6 with some new hoses and such, but I was wondering if they made anything for the tractor side for this? I did not see anything in the parts catalog or kit list, but would be nice to do it once on the tractor. I am looking at adding the hydraulic angle cylinder to my rear snow plow as well, so I would have to buy 2 of these.

Just curious if I am missing something.

I took a closer look at the valve parts and technical manual. The schematics show the lock valve on the 2 loader circuits, but not the 3rd. The manual shows the valve has caps for all 3 spools, so I am wondering if I can add it to the 3rd SCV? I don't see anywhere where it was sold as an option or as kit.

The part number for the check valve in the parts manual is AM100201.

JD calls it the Load Check Valve. The external ones are usually called Lock Valves.

Now, the cylinder that is "slipping", is that on the 3rd SCV of the Deere 4410 ?

Those Harley rakes are nice.. hope you enjoy yours and the Surplus Center lock valve isn't redundant to the Deere check valve that may not be functional.
