Backhoe JD 448 Back Hoe on a 4720 with Cab

Has anyone put a 448 back hoe on a 4720 with a cab? One JD dealer said it would fit and another dealer said it would not. Does any one have or know where to get the brackets (other than the dealer) for the hoe that fits the 4000 series? Thanks for your response.

The 448 fits the open station 4720 so the question is related to the Cab configuration not the series. Have the dealer who said it wouldn't explain to you why, then have the dealer who said it would fit explain what issues or challenges you may encounter. May need to go back and forth with questions until you get your answer.

I continue to hear that a frame attachment is preferred over a 3-point attachment. Know what you are getting in terms of attachment.

Check the Private Party Ads - there is a 448 BH off a 4720 there.

The 448 and 485 hoe are the same. Look at the parts site and you'll see that. So if the 485 will fit on cabbed 4000 machines it must be a different bracket arrangement. I'm fairly sure it could work with a 448.
