binding chain goes over the bh subframe when its on my trailer. it leaves little room for the mower deck, i would imagine.

it is pretty easy to attach to the tractor, i can hook it up by myself in under a minute. 2 pins and 2 hoses, you're done! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

roccon31,

You can use the MMM with the 46BH subframe mounting attachments still mounted to the tractor (on the 4110, I 'think' the 4115 would be similar) but you do need to drop the BH itself. I don't have a ton of experience with the BH yet but someone on another thread a while ago suggested throttling down to just above idle speed to get rid of the jerkiness. I tried this last night and it worked great...I didn't need too much power as I was only digging holes to plant small trees but the operation - with my limited BH skill - was much, much smoother.

Jason,

JD's 46BH will work on the 4110 - I have one on mine. You'll need the 'power beyond' hydraulics plumbed to the rear of the tractor and you'll have to add sub-frame mounting brackets that will stay attached to the tractor even when the BH is not there. The 46BH will run you about $6k before installation...not an inexpensive tool.

I believe the 46 is made by Amerequip. I did not see if anyone responded so here is the Amerequip web site Amerequip

I think it is an excellent backhoe as we have them.

Thanks,
Maka

thanks! my trailer is a 6X16 landscape unit. with the box on the front, the bucket is back about 10 inches from the front of the trailer, just enough so i have to move the hoe to the side to close the gate. before i put the box on, i could load her up and leave her straight and the gate would close. other than that, it fits perfect on there.

Thanks Everyone!! I'll check out the website and your pictures are helpful. The "power beyond" plumbs into what? It sounds like most everyone has dealer install? Thanks again! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
