JD 4600 won't start

About 4 months ago my 4600 with was at an idle, when engine died
No power to key, found blown fuse for ignition
It did this 4 times since
Battery was dead last week, replaced battery
Went to start today and it blew fuse immediately (ignition lights come on, and doesnt blow fuse unless I turn key all the way to start) I tried a larger amp fuse, but that blew
Started pulling other fuses and relays one by one, no help
Replaced key switch, it was acting up before this
Took starter into JD they tested it and said it "seemed" ok, didn't believe it was starter being it blew fuse when engine was already running
JD tech thinks it might be in fuel system
Can hear fuel selonoid click when turn key on
My guess is bare wire somewhere---night mare
Anyone have wire diagram
Hoping someone else had this problem
Any ideas would be appreciated

You have to think of this logically, if you have a schematic of your machine, it will help.
Something tells me that you have a slow drain on your battery, most likely why you replaced it.You will need to check the circuit that the blown fuse protects, most likely a bare wire somewhere in that circuit.
Make sure when you replaced the switch that the wires were correctly placed, if this is a new machine to you, they may have been put on wrong beforehand also. I have seen where the wire to the fuel solenoid gets a bare spot and when the tractor is "moving" it would touch the bare metal causing a fuse to blow until finally, it just kept blowing, thats how I found it. The fuse for the fuel solenoid aren't that big, 5amps I believe. I'm sure you'll find it, without a diagram, it will be pretty hard but doable.

Can't help you on the diagram. I agree -- sounds like a bare wire.
Good news is, there's not miles of wire like in a car.
