JD 5065E VS. 5075E

Partially true, yes. The 5075E does have more HP on the engine and PTO - because of the fuel delivery. Some on here have said they have done some after-market adjustments to crank up the fuel / air delivery to get the 5065E up to 5075E specs. That, of course, voids the warranty!

My 5075E was *only* $371 more brand new than a 5065E... so I just paid that small amount more and got the tuned-up engine straight from the factory. :thumbsup:

I am aware it voids the warranty but this is a brand new tractor never been adjusted or messed with has 3hrs on it. My dealer was asking 2300 more for the 5075.

Hi....I'm considering the 5065E too and was wondering how you like yours so far? If you are mowing with it, what size mower are you pulling?

Hey I'm new to post on here but been reading on here for a long time. I don't know if you have made a choice yet or not but 2 days ago they delivered my 5065e and the driver told me when the put it on the dyno its was showing 65hp at the pto and the pto wasn't at 540 yet. I've also been told the 5065 and 5075 are the same tractor just more$$. Hope it helps.

I know I'm not the OP, who you addressed the question to, but I have basically the same tractor in a 5075E. I pull an MX6 with it. You could easily mow with a 8 footer with a 5065E, though. Especially if you went with a pull-behind vs. a 3PT mounted 8 footer.

I love it so far but all Ive done with it is set out round bales of hay out. I've got plans on pulling a old 15ft woods bushog for clipping pasture and i have a woods 6ft 3pt for heavy bushogging. Also have plans on using a 8ftdisc mower for cutting hay. I'll keep ya updated when I start using it more.
