JD 5093 with a JD 457 Baler

I have a JD 5093. I also use a JD 457 baler to bale with. I am having problems getting my net wrap cut. I think it has something to do with the voltage but nobody can figure it out. If I hook my cables directly to the battery it will run it ok, but if I go through the cables it doesn't work. Any ideas?

If I understand correctly... when you use the rear-mounted tractor coupler (7-pin..?) the wrap cutter doesn't function correctly, yes?

If you connect the leads from the baler to the tractor battery everything works; yes?

And you checked the pin-outs on the coupler with a volt-meter?

Does your tractor manual list a pin-out for the coupler?

To my knowledge all JD rd hay late model baler monitors are intended to be hooked to this AE50549 WIRING HARNESS which is referred to as a convenience outlet.

7 pin coupler is for warning lights
