jd 5103 3 pt lift

i have a jd 5103 and i am having trouble with my 3 pt lift. it will no longer raise all the way up with an attachment hooked up. i can raise levers all the way but attacment will only go about half way. i can raise the attachment by hand and it will finishing raising up but will go right back down to about half way.

any suggestions would be appreciated

Is that one attachment in particular or all attachments?

Is the weight of the attachment within you lift capability.

Is your3pt relief activating?

it is a bush hog and it has always picked it up until now. like i said it will pick up half way but that is all. never any problems in the past. i have a front end loader also and i have not had any problems with it either, so far....
