How do you adjust PTO on JD 5300, mine is just not delivering all the power.

I had a problem with mine slipping on a previously owned 5105. There is a rod under the tractor that is connected to the lever and it can be adjusted on each end. If you have "slack" in the engagement that should take care of it. You may be able to go online and look up the owners manual for the 5300 and it will guide you through the process too.
