I have checked all I can find to check and stopped just short of replacing gauge cluster. I average 100-125 hours annually. Hours not advancing is not a huge issue, but do like to have all functions working. May try replacing cluster at some point. On my 5310 it was the fuel gauge that quit. I replaced the fuel sender but that didn't do it. After I traded it the guy that bought it made the dealer fix the problem, it was the gauge cluster.
I am 2 for 3 of those items. No starter issues yet.I've read and experienced quite a bit about those models of tractors. The gauge cluster is a failure item along with starters and the cold temp thermistor.
