Ok got it. That to me is even more amazing that the impeller (in the rear for the second stage) is plastic. You would think that thing would take a beating with rocks and ice chunks.

Not all plastic is created equal. :laughing: It seems to have held up very well for me after a winter of clearing deep snow.
