lv100117 is a JD kit number SINGLE (THIRD) SCV HYDRAULIC and not a JD part number. I have included the URL to JDparts. Goto this URL enter 5400, select it, you will see part index near the bottom (I know this conflicts with what I said before), but enter lv100117 in part search and it will come up.

If you install one on your tractor, let us know how it went. I would like to know if you had to remove the rear tire to put it on.

hi jd5210 i have service manual for 5200-5500 tractors it says to remove the tire and fender. i have to get the parts first. if you want after i get the kit i can post the instructions. i seen one that sold on ebay in august for one hundred dollars plus fourty for shipping that would have been nice. thanks for the jd site. i have to see what the local dealer wants. it been a great winter so far i feel like planting something. thank you for the info and have a nice day dave

Please post the instructions and how it went, if you decide to install one. I have thought about doing this, but since my tires have fluid in them I do not really want to take it off by myself.

thanks Briana sorry i posted in the wrong place.i have located a third svc kit and a kit to move the joy stick outlets to a mid mount. this site and e-bay made it possible plus at a big savings. thanks dave
