Duppa, JD did change the design to more rounded wheels and added grease fittings. I complained about this and my dealer got me a kit to fix the problem. He offered to install the kit for me or let me do it myself. The kit included new wheels and grease fittings. I had to drill and tap holes for the grease fittings and I added a groove around the circumference of the plastic bushings to make sure the grease would travel around the bearing well. This has totally fixed the same problem on my 62D. The kit was free.
