Need muffler advise for my Kohler CH25S 68624.
24 786 12-S vs 24 786 11S?
Is it just the different sides of discharge or is flange sizes different? Older machine and muffler is done, have it off and looking at $99 to $170 to replace but need to know which one will work.
I will say that the OEM blows over battery and I don't like that so if other ones is just that it blows to other side I'll get it.
How important is the shield? The bracket I can reuse but shield is gone.
Read somewhere that newer mufflers have different flange spacing or size?

They both look the same to me. From the photos on the jungle place, they both, the 11s and the 12s, have the exhaust exiting on the same side.

Got the S-12 coming with complete kit, bracket, shield gaskets, $141 on Amazon, hope it works.
