Hi. I'm new to this site, and planning to soon being a new JD owner as well. At least with regard to tractors, that is. I have an old IH 1086 @ 130hp with loader, but am planning to update to a late model JD 7130 MFWD.
So my question is with regard to loaders. Of course I can go buy a new loader, but think it is in my best interest to buy used if possible. I found a nice loader that came off an 8000 series JD, and of course the 7130 is a member of the lighter-frame 7000 series.
What are your thoughts or recommendations with this combo? I don't expect the mounts to work without modifications, but am I asking for problems (such as stress or breakage) if I try to use such a heavy duty loader on a 7130? And does anyone know if there would be physical size issues?
