JD 750 Remote Spools

Anyone ever worked on the remote cylinder valve on a JD 750?

Bucket tilt has started drifting, a lot and rather suddenly. Reversed the lines just to test and drift goes away (not the cylinder). No (significant) drift on the main rams (not the relief valve). So pretty sure it is the valve, and just the one valve.

Any other ideas or corrections to assumptions above? Anything I should try before tearing into the valve? Is there even any point to tearing into the valve myself, or should I just replace?

If spool valve is leaking internally only resolution is replacement of complete valve(spool & housing) as the clearance between spool & housing is a machined fit.
