I know that similar questions have been asked but I haven't been able to identify a definitive answer. What would be the most cost effective way to add a loader to my JD 755 tractor? I really enjoy the tractor, the size is just right for my 5.5 acres and the belly mower does an excellent job so I'd prefer not to get rid of it just to have the capabilities of a loader.

So far I have been unable to locate a used JD 52 or 70 loader. There is currently a 51 loader on ebay but it is for a 655 so I'm not sure if it would work or even be worthwhile. I've considered aftermarket options but most or all cost more than I paid for the tractor.

Are there any alternatives out there that may be more cost effective?

The mounting brackets for the 51 loader don't differentiate between the JD 655 and 755..

Also, the mounting brackets for the 70 loader are listed as the same for the JD 655 and 755.

I would conclude that the 51 loader will work on your 755 without any additional fabrication.. but just my :2cents: worth..

Finding a used loader is not easy-and you have to be close with cash-in-hand, and it must come with the correct mounts for your 755, IF all those stars align you are a lucky man.
