I’d like to install additional directional control valves on my John Deere 755.
The tractor already has the rear auxiliary hydraulic Kit installed.
A JD 755 is ‘open center’ with 5.6 GPM (total).
Question #1) I gather that if I installed a direction control valve like P40G-2K16A1 from summit Hydraulic, I need the power beyond conversion plug (P40G-PB). My understanding is that the 3-point lift hydraulics are down-stream of the auxiliary port, so I think power beyond conversion should be necessary. Is this correct?
Question 2) If I do need the power beyond conversion, where should I plumb the tank return (T) port from valve back to the tractor? I need to find low pressure return line to Tee into or a plug on the case that dumps back to sump.
