To All who responded to my original post:
First: thanks for your advice, sorry it took so long for me to respond.
Second: The problem was dirt/junk in the fuel system.
1. I replaced the fuel filter.
2. Removed and cleaned out the tank.
3. Replaced fuel lines.
4. Cleaned the screen on the pick-up tube in the tank.
5. Replaced the corroded plastic piece on the end of the pick up.
6. Put it all back together, bled the air out and
7. Now it runs better than it has since I bought the tractor two years ago.
