Just bought a 2002 8120 at auction, any opinions on this tractor would be appreciated. Had to sell my 4955 to get it, wanted a little newer tractor as the 4955 had about 6000 hours on it. Later

What do you do with your 9620T?
I have not followed the 8000 series deere tractors very much but I don't recall hearing too much bad about them other then they were made by JD
Your biggest issues might be the electronics as it seems most new tractors have problems with electronics somewhere on them.

I use my 9620 T for a small logging business I have, have also purchased a old scraper I plan on pulling with the 9620 T, used to operate heavy equipment for a living so like track machines. I will use the 8120 a little in the wood business, but mainly use to farm. Just bought another 50 acres so I got 125 now. Later folks.

You must have to make some wide trails to run a 9620T thru the woods. Can you tell me more about how you use that tractor for logging? Do you use a winch on the back or do you have a forwarder you pull around?

Sorry about not answering your question the other nite, had family emergency. I have been using a forwarder, me and buddy built one that I use.

No problem, the question wasn't vital and family always comes first.
If you get the chance could you post a picture of your tractor and forwarder? I enjoy seeing this type of equipment doing things other then pulling a chisel or disc.
