JD 855 Front End Loader

I have a 1990 855 and am looking for a fel. can anyone tell me what models will fit this tractor. I have seen them with 70a, 52 and some others. Any help would be appreciated. Locally i have seen a 70 in a farm field and if that would fit I would contact the farmer and see if it is for sale. thanks for the help.

The 70A will fit the 855.

There is a thread "JD-955 70a Loader lift capacity" that lists the lifting limits of the 70a.

Woods has manuals for loader mounting kits for their 1006 and LS72 loaders for the 855.

Well, according to my 60, 70, 70a loader manual, a 70 loader fits on a 855. Go talk to that farmer my man, and get yourself a FEL!!

How does the 300x fit on the 855? Did you have to fabricate any hardware? Also any special valves you need for that setup?
