jd 870 or 4400

I guess i posted in the wrong forum first time. anyway
I looking at upgrading from a jd1010 to an 870 or a 4400.
the 4400 is newer and has twice the hours. will these machines run my 503 mower or should trade it too and
look for a newer mower too?

Well I drove both and liked the 870 didnt like the 4400
but they sold the 870 before I could make up my mind.
going to test out a nh 1925 see how it stacks up to
my old 1010

Pharmer- I have a friend in Nevada that has a JD870 w/loader, and a JD 8A back-hoe he wants to sell. He is trying to determine the price to ask for it. What did they sell the 870 for you were looking at, and how was it equiped??

This tractor has 1100 hrs

He had it listed at $11500, had a loader on it & it was 4x4
with turf tires 1000 hours.this was a 1994 model.
he had a 1998 model no loader with less hours for 12500.
I didnt buy the nh, he wanted a $1000 more for trade.
if I do that I'd be better off getting new tractor with lower
finacing
