JD 870 Pilot Bearing-Shaft fit

In the first post the shaft measured .664 and now it's .666, is that a typo? Or is it a error in your measuring equipment?

Hi- First measurement was with vernier calipers and not of best quality .
0.666 was with Browne- Sharpe micrometers set to zero with a standard.
My 81 year old eyes don't work well with verniers.
Sorry for not pointing out the reason for difference.
