JD 924 DE Snow Blower

This is a walk behind unit that my sister bought this week. The seller told her it was 4 or 5 years old. Could it be true that it is only 4 or 5 years old? It seams to me that it has been much longer than that since I have seen a new green snow blower on the show room floor.

When I bought my Ariens about 5 years ago, JD had just changed to the Frontier units. My father got one of the Deeres the year or so before I got mine. So, it is possible that the seller was a little off, but not too far. Incidentally, those Deere blowers were built by Ariens.
