The short output shaft in the mfwd drop gear box in my 1989 jd 950 is damaged. High centered tractorand bent driveshaft causing it to pull out slightly and round off end of large splines hence causing it to skip when loaded down. Can possibly replace entire box or just the shaft. Pn for shaft is CH19757 or entire drop box assembly is AM875574. Had located an entire box but after purchasing its output was smler diameter and also smaller gear. Mine has output shaft dia of 1.160 and outer gear dia of roughly 3.625, 32 tooth. Really only need the shaft as my gears and box are fine in case someone has one with different gear and would just sell the shaft. Jd lists 4 different gears based on serial number. Trying to locate one asap as tractor is down and 2nd option is possibly having to weld up and remake spline ends on end of shaft but trying to make that a last resort.
