- Deposit on JD 4110 (04/26/2002)-Delivered 06/29/2002
Just priced out a 450hp Dual Wheel JD-9520 with all the bells and whistles.
Retail price = 216,722.00.
Question…
What type of dealer discount should I expect? I’m thinking if I pay cash, and I mean not a check but real US Uncle Sam dollars that I should expect at least 20 percent and a free hat.
Any thoughts?
PS: I would only be using it for clearing out the snow around my mailbox. You know, for after you plow the driveway and you have that pesky snow that the mail carrier has to reach over to get you your bills.
PPS: I haven’t run this idea by the Wife yet. Still trying to justify it. I’m thinking I could tell her “If the pickup truck craps out I could put the PU truck in the bucket and drive the JD down to the service station with the PU in the bucket.
A saving of a $25.00 tow fee each time. I could break even with 8,000 tows @ $25.00 per.
PPPS: Ah, never mind, just a pipe dream.
