Well, I bought the 4600 before the 2210's came out and it was about a year later that I got the Ballast Box (just when the new 2210's were coming out). I suspect I might have got something that was in the "inventory" and hence it hadn't been updated yet.
I'll talk to the Dealer tomorrow... if it can be retrofited with some welding we'll "git'er done"..
Well, talked to the dealer today and it is indeed the older box. They said they would fix it for me though with a welder and some green paint when I bring my 4600 in for it's 500 hour service checkup... So I guess I'm happy with the outcome for now.
But you'd think they would have figured this out when they were selling the Ballast Box originally....
To be fair to the dealer, they probably would have got you the right one had you bought the I-Match at the same time as the box. But not matter now, sounds like they are going to fix you up. Sounds like a good dealer
Yes, they are a good dealer and they have treated me right in the past. So I'm happy.
But the irony of the matter is that i-Match technology has been around for quite some time. It was only when the compact tractor market kicked in that they became really popular and hence I suspect the retrofitting of products became an issue. Oh well.... we'll get it fixed...
I have seen soime crazy CAT 3 and larger Quick Hitches on some big boy Deeres. They were not called Imatch but these quick hitches were crazy looking and very very big. I think once you get into some major equipment $$ things like that are just included. Nothing to add on.
