- Kubota Tractor Loader L3560 HST+ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3,700 pounds bare tractor, 5,400 pounds operating weight, 37 horsepower
My Monroe Tufline TH971820 cost me $2,428 delivered (no sales tax in Florida on ag equipment.) in February 2015. It weighs 915 pounds, 46 pounds per pan. It has 3" X 3" frame.
All the TL43 series are Cat 1/2, so they are engineered to be pulled by up to 100-horsepower tractors.
Equivalent Tufline TL439711820 weighs 1,189 pounds, 59 pounds per pan. It has 4" X 3" frame and likely thicker pans.
The TL4392020 is a bit wider, at 8', has all 9" spacing and weighs 1,318 pounds. I am sure it went for every bit of $3,000 new, likely more today.
TL4392020 does not have lever adjust of gang angles but at 1,318 pounds (66 pounds per pan) quick adjust may be superfluous.
Tufline recommends 45-horsepower minimum with 4-WD and from my experience with my 18/20", Tufline means MINIMUM. The tractor would have to be 6,500 pounds too.
Personally, I would consider TL4392020 a better value @ $2,500 than the W8 in Post #1 @ $500, if OP HAS ENOUGH TRACTOR.
