JD fel in a crate

My neighbor has come up with what he considers to be a great idea, he buys a fel for his tractor and since I have all the tools WE take it out of the crate and put it together and on the tractor. Supposedly this puppy comes with all the directions and parts we'll need ,but having been down this road before I thought I'd ask for tips and or tricks from some of you gents or gals that have more experience than we do .When we get this one done we will between us have a total of one for experience.The tractor is a 4100 and the fel will be a JD ,new so it should fit without the blue tipped wrench ,but it never hurts to ask especially when i've read about adjusting issues and such , no clue as to what they were refering too. promises to be an interesting day.

I just put a 430 loader on my 4310 last weekend .it comes with all you need to install it on the pallet . I got the loader in the middle of the week and couldn`t put it on toll the weekend so I dug the book out and read up on it before I started.
The worst part to me was getting the front carrage shifted around to get the front safety lock to latch down on the weight brkt.
you will have to drive along the loader to do an inicial hook up in order to stand the loader up on its leg. when you hook the lines up for the first time beware it will do strange things. I was trying to make the loader lift and the bucket dump cyl. were also moving ,I thought I had the lines wrong but once the fluid filled the system it was fine. make sure you get some extra fluid to top off your system .

Well we did it and it really was'nt that bad the only major problem that I ran into was I did'nt count on everything being metric, once I rounded up the tools I needed it went fairly smooth and I'll give JD credit everything fit right and works great.My neighbor is a happy camper now
