Is there any compatibility between A, B, and the Ag fitting??

Do the A and B always have that 'pointier' depressable nipple in the center and the Ag-style always have the ball??

Like HHG wrote, they are NOT compatible.

ISO-A and ISO-B couplers look very similar, but they are not compatible with one another.

The "pointer" is called a "poppet"

The International Standards Organization (ISO) has adopted standardization requirements for interchangeability and performance of 1/2" agricultural male tips. SafeWay's S71 Series male tips, with either ball check or poppet check, meet or exceed these requirements. To date, all tractor manufacturers have accepted ISO 5675 as the "standard" for their equipment. SafeWay's 1/2" S20 Series and S70 Series female couplers accept all ISO 5675 male tips.

In simple terms, just match up to what you have or change them all out to match.

The numbers on the fittings will cross over to another brand, if necessary, or use adapters.

Your tractor should have the ISO-A 1/2" style that HHG linked above.

That's what I thought, but I was confused when I picked up my Schulte blower last week. It had the "B" type on it, and the partsman at the JD dealership told me those where "JD" style male connectors.

There all "A", or maybe "Ag" now.

The Agricultural Couplers (Pioneer, ISO 5675) are interchangeable with ISO 7241-1 Series A, but ONLY in one size (1/2"). All other sizes are not interchangeable. ISO 7241-1 Series B does not interchange with any of the others.

Most manufacturers will offer all of the above in both the ball style AND the poppet style. However, the most common configuration is the ball style for the Ag couplers, and the poppet style for the others. This is the way we list them at DiscountHydraulicHose.com, but the other styles are available as well.
