JD Gator HPX Important Safety Notice

Today I received a Recall Notice from John Deere pertaining to the brake master cylinder on HPX Gators that fall between a rather large serial number window.

This includes HPX 4x2's and 4x4's, also gas and diesel models.

The notice states "the master brake cylinder piston may fail resulting in loss of brakes presenting a potential for an accident".

Figured I'd let other HPX owners (what few there are here /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif) know about this issue in case they dont receive notification.

Received mine in the mail today. I heard about it at the dealer's a few weeks ago. They knew it concerned the brakes but didn't have any information or parts to fix the problem.
