JD GT275 won\'t spark. Anybody have a schematic?

My JD 275 suddenly won't start. Put it in the garage two weeks ago, shut it off and today no spark.

It Will turn over. I jumpered the seat switch to be sure it is not that. And the interloc for the emergency brake is working because I can hear the solenoid for the mower click in and out.

I need a wiring diagram and some troubleshooting tips please.

How about the blade engage lever? there should be a switch on that too.

I think they had a part called an ignitor.... might be that....
although I think they usually start acting up with some intermittent problems before it totally quits.. it's a small metal looking flat squared piece on the side of the motor,, i just can't tell you how to test to verify for sure if that's whats bad..

You might want to check the ignition Relay(K1) , Battery for the ignition module and coil break through this as well.

Did you find the problem? I have a gt 275 and the pto switch quit and I jumped part of the switch and after shutting it off to eat lunch, It will not fire or spark at the plug. If you found what the problem was on you tractor please post. Thankf putt0pup
