Hello, new to the site. I am going to look at a GT275 this week. The guy is asking $1200.00, but said that he woiuld accept $1000.00. The pics I've seen look good. Is there anything in particular to look out for on this model? My brother in law has one that he bought new back in '97 and it has served him well. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Welcome to TBN! That sounds like a good deal. When I got my Deere, I drove it around and put it through a few tests to see if everything was working right. Check the oil, see when it was last serviced. What I did for tests was mowed a little bit of grass, drove backwards up a hill (to insure the tranny is strong) etc. If you bring it home, make sure to get some pics of it!:thumbsup:
