JD/Kubota better quality than LS/ TYM, etc?

I love my Kubota, BUT as with many other things I would "BUY THE DEALER BEFORE THE BRAND." Meaning the best tractor in the world will not make you happy if you have a crappy dealer. And a good dealer will make up for the brand.

All I know is my previous tractor was a JD 850.
I replaced it with a 2001 Kioti DK 35. Its been an excellent tractor for me.
I've owned the Kioti Dk for 19 years now and its been every bit as well built, solid and reliable as my JD 850 was.

Could not say it better in my case Kioti Tractors and then the implements that they sell and reccomend usually they are family owned business that have helped build this Country

I think your question is valid. Yes there is variance in the quality of them. Yes their price varies between brand. I have only ever had Case, Kubota and JD. In process of buying my third Kubota but the JD I have is my preferred tractor and the Case was an excellent one also. That does not mean these three brands are perfect. But when I have needed parts or support on them they were available. Not so with some brands I have looked at. Company gone, dealers change often... Look at those who depend on their machines for their income.

That says a lot. I owned a John Deere 850, and it was an excellent tractor. The newer models have better ergonomics and creature comforts, but those Yanmar built John Deeres were very good tractors.

I do like the Kiotis. They seem to have reached their stride on design and features.

Don't forget Mahindra, the number one selling tractor in the world.

I had a JD for 16yrs, nice tractor had a few minor issues, overall no complaints, purchased a Kubota, was still relatively a new brand in the area, had it for ten years, again had a few minor issues, went with a Kioti last summer, in my search did not feel JD or Kubota offered the value or comfort that Kioti did with the models I wanted, the Kioti has been an excellent unit, I am very pleased with it. I learned a long time ago price is not set by quality it is set by market share, I ride a HD motorcycle, it is a lot more money than most, in many comparisons, it most definitely does not make it a better bike, I just like the HD. If I ever go looking for another tractor and JD, Kubota, MF, Branson etc had one that fit my needs better than Kioti I would not hesitate in going with it, best advice is to do the research, drive them, there are a lot of nice units out there.....

People forget or not aware that Kioti has been around for at least 20 years that I can remember. You don't do that without a good product and support.
I didn't do the actual homework as to when they were introduced into the states, but 20+/- some years is when I became aware of them down in the mid-atlantic area.

"the number one selling tractor in the world"

That is advertising hype, pure and simple.
They apparently sell tens of thousands of two wheel "tractors" in India, and India is their primary market.
I do not know how many REAL tractors Mahindra sells annually in the US, but it is a very small percentage of the total USA tractor market.

I have a cultivator made in India.
It works, but is a crudely built POS.
