But, I don't think he realizes the consequences of being an idiot. If anyone like that ever came in looking for a job, I'd turn him down flat and black-list him to everyone I know. I don't need that kind of idiot anywhere near me.
You might miss a great employee. I have to be a professional 50 hours a week, what I do on my own time is not my employers business. No, I'd not do what he did ( I don't drink to that extent!) but I have no problem raising **** on a dirtbike or playing with explosives, or even sending empty caulking tubes into orbit with a homebrew cannon. On the clock, I am all professional, 15 years on the same job, senior man, and 1.4 million or so accident free miles.
But yeah, he is an idiot when alcohol and tractors are involved. :confused2:
