I changed my order today and got the 400cx (with the skid steer attachment, and the extra hydraulics with skid steer flat couplers), and I ordered the imatch.


I can't wait!


the only drawback that I can is that the skid steer bucket probably comes in black not green -- I'm going to have to paint it.

Is there a way to bypass the self leveling if there is a need to tilt the bucket while it is raised?

...no, there is not a way to disengauge the self leveling feature....but it has never been a problem!

Your thinking seams to be the same as mine when I first started looking at the JD's with the cx loaders. The self leveling feature is not controlled hydraulically. There is a set of linkage cams, I'll call them, on top of the loader arms that pivot the bucket as you raise and lower the loader arms (see pictures of the cx vs. the x). The design of the geometry with the linkage cams keeps the buck in the same relative position when raising and lowering the loader. You can of course dump or curl the bucket hydraulically at any position. Go to your JD dealer and drive one in the lot. You'll see what I mean.
