I would compare the width of the tractor to the width of the unit. I would not buy a rotary cutter that doesn't cover the track of the tractor myself. I want to have a little reach and I don't want to have to overlap tire tracks on every pass. That is why I went for a MX6 even though that is not recommended for my tractor (they list LX5, LX6, MX5). I also do brush cutting with it. If I was just going to be cutting fields I would have no problems going with the LX.

In my experience, it is better to be on the conservative side when it comes to bush hogs. As some members have mentioned, it is often more an issue of weight and mechanical leverage than lack of power. The hillier the terrain, the more careful one has to be with a rotary cutter. Personally, the LX series seems to be a good value in a cutter.

The 4115 is a nice machine. If I had one, I'd get an LX5 or 4. Take reasonable care and it'd be fine. Be sure to get the slip clutch and chains!
