JD spec sheet on 285 or anyone who owns one(a long

Anyone own this model? I need a spec sheet on a 285 garden tractor . I am considering buying one long distance and I need to find out the specs so I can evaluate price. I could not find any information on it on the site.

Has this been a good performer? What maintenance problems have you experienced? Would you buy a used one today knowing what you have seen in the past?

I know it has a hand controlled hydro and looks almost identical to our 320. The 285 is 17 horse air cooled if I am not mistaken. Manual implement lift, 48'' deck. They are a good machine and have a good Kawasaki motor in them. I would not buy a garden tractor without seeing it in person to see what the wear and tear looks like not to mention to test drive it. If the mower deck is beat to crap the spindles may need replacement or a rebuild.
