I was just on JD's web site checking out the 4000 TEN series and noticed they are offering special deals on the 4000 TEN series (along with the 4000, 5000 TEN, & the 5000 TWENTY Series). <A target="_blank" HREF=http://customer.johndeere.com/golfandturfprofessionals/specialoffers/specials.html>http://customer.johndeere.com/golfandturfprofessionals/specialoffers/specials.html</A> They are offering up to $1200 off the 4000 TEN series, plus $$$ off add'l implements. This is probably in response to the low financing NH is offering and Kubota's great deals. I am going to call the JD dealer today and see what the price of the 4110 is.

Thanks for the heads up. I had negotiated a pretty good deal before and had mentioned all the blue and orange incentives.

I just got off the phone with the dealer and he was not aware of this news, but was going to check.

$700 off on a 4X10 tractor sure helps level the playing field.

I just called the JD dealer and he did not know about offer either. He called me back and said he could take $1000 off the price for the 4110 ($500 for tractor + $200 for mower + $300 for loader). Not bad.

Tell him to check again. You should get the full $1200 off of your package.

Does this "special offer" apply only to JD financing or to all sales? Not much information put out by JD on this if it's valid.

Yes, I agree. This is not the dealer's money that they're giving up. This is a special offer from big JD. The dealer should be losing nothing on this. It should be $1,200 on a 4x10 series tractor plus two implements.

Check the aforementioned JD link that was referenced. Read the disclaimer information. I think they require you to put 20% down and finance the rest through JD Credit at the prevailing interest rate of 5.9% for 5 years or higher rates for longer loan period. There's also some language in the disclaimer pertaining to the tractor purchase needs to be for commercial use as opposed to retail use. This may knock a lot of potential retail customers out of the box.
