Yep. Start cleaning grounds. Don't just look them over. Take them apart and clean them. Shiny metal to metal, and coat with dielectric grease before you reassemble them.
Don't forget the ground wires themselves, and the connectors.
I had same thing with my x585. it was bad ground on the lift side of the plug where it plugs in to the dash. you must squeeze the two prongs togather in the plug to make contact. wiring harness is to heavy for the plug. harness must be puled up an tied fast so it donot hang on the plug good luck. it fixed mine . I went through the same soldering did not work. there two grounds in the plug its the one on the lift its black
