JD X749 starter solenoid without power

This is where it gets foggy for me. I have read that sequence chart and get stopped at the "A1 Display". I have not taken apart the panel to look at the PTO switch yet, but it was working as a safety stop before not allowing to start with it engaged. Now with the temporary solenoid wire, I'm not sure. It is probably a DPST so I should pull that and check. That display thing has got me nervous though. Thanks!

Agree trouble shooting the display circuit board is way above my electrical abilities. I would suggest triple checking the PTO circuit to see if you can determine is the correct signal getting to the display. Same with brake switch. Not sure how seat switch is in the circuit but lots of possible causes that can be a real challenge to isolate and diagnose.

Yup, checking the PTO switch soon. The brake switch and seat switch are both good.
