JD XUV 850D cab noise reduction kit

Anyone have this installed?
Does it reduce the "boominess" inside the cab with all doors and windows closed?
Cab is great, but it sure is darned noisy in there.
It's like flying one of those old twin prop planes with the noise of the engines going in and out of synch.
I'm currently looking for aircraft style ear mufflers with 2 way radio ,seriously!

Hi.....I just saw your message about the noise reduction kit. Did you install the kit? How did it work out for you, did it reduce the noise substantially? I just bought the kit from my dealer yesterday and was planning to install it today. But I started to get a little irritated that I had to spend another $300 just to make the ride tolerable. Has anybody tried the Limbsaver Ultra Quads. They are very inexpensive items and they do work. I know several folks here has put them in their utility vehilces and they do help. They have installed them inside on the roofs and the hidden parts of the beds >>>>.
This accessory for dampening vibration, shock and excess noise. Small, can be put just about anywhere. They are made for bows, but they do take vibration noises out ....
I have seen them in Wal-mart stores. Many outdoor/archery/ hunting shops carry them >>>>>>>>

I never would have thought about using limbsavers on anything but a bow

I installed on the front of the bed, it cannot be seen when the bed is down. Just about the time, not all the time though, you would come to a almost complete stop, maybe you could say a little more than a high idle, the bed would have a " zzzzzzzzzzzz" sound in the bed. Installed these, and it stopped ...

Made a believer out of me !!!

They look factory, except the installer didn't postition them all the same

Nope, the installer put two horizonally & two vertical >>>>

Like them so much, The installer also purchased two more sets, in case there might ever be need for more somewhere !!!

Was even thinking of putting a set on Mrs.Two Guns best friend's mouth !!!! The viberation of her lips gets on my nerves sometimes !!!

You could use something like dynamat to cover metal between the motor and cab. Dynaliner

I should have ordered the factory kit. It does get a little noisy in the cab sometimes.

Please show pictures of factory kit if possible. Thanks.

I found the part at Deere.com:John Deere - Parts Catalog Look under the cab section, this one is for the HPX.

I am not sure where it goes.
